Jim qualified as a social worker in the 1970s and went on to establish numerous, successful businesses over the past 25 years ranging from social care to restaurants and artificial intelligence.  Between them, these companies have employed thousands of individuals in the UK and across the world.

She leads the Martin James Network change agenda and is passionate about creating a progressive working environment. Ayyab believes in the power of connection and strives for all the businesses within the Martin James Network to work together to disrupt markets and deliver leading edge innovation.

Mark joined the Martin James Network as Group People Director in August 2019 with over 20 years experience in HR across many different industries. Mark is passionate about driving and continuously improving engagement and diversity across the business. Mark is at the forefront of new and progressive people approaches which reflect and support the company values and the entrepreneurial and innovative approach of the Group. Outside of work, Mark’s married with 2 children (a girl and a boy) and has lived in Birmingham for most of his life.

Group Director of Legal & Compliance

Faye joined the Martin James Network as Group Director of Legal and Compliance in December 2019 and brings with her over 15 years experience in legal and governance. Faye is responsible for all aspects of the Network’s legal affairs across the world and leads on the regulatory and compliance strategy keeping each of the businesses updated as to changes within the ever changing legal and regulatory landscape. In doing so she implements governance structures to allow each business to be agile and has the ability to adapt to external challenges ensuring they ebody the Network’s values of entrepreneurialism and innovation. Outside of work Faye lives in Warwickshire with her family.

Nav is a chartered certified accountant who trained with KPMG in Birmingham. He has held a number of senior finance roles, with wide cross sector experience that includes pharmaceuticals, investment banking, technology and private equity.
Nav leverages his strong breadth of experience and operational knowledge to build expert teams that drive strategy and manages growth to deliver sustainable profitability. Outside of work Nav and his family live in Warwickshire and he is a retired recreational rugby player.

Alison joined Martin James Network in 2021 after two years in Antser – where she led the innovative and ground breaking Virtual Reality behaviour change programme. Alison has spent her life working to improve outcomes for children and young people, especially those vulnerable and disadvantaged. Alison spent ten years in the care system where she learnt much about being a courageous woman – which she took into her professional life to help her make positive change for children. From child in care to Director of Children Services and CEO of a local council – Alison has joined the Martin James Network so she can continue to make change for vulnerable children and young people across the globe.
