Numbers are my thing. My Mum said that I always had a calculator, pen and paper in hand as a child.

I qualified as an accountant in 2004 with Mazars and during my 10 years with them held various roles including audit, tax, payroll, forensics and corporate finance. My last role was as an ‘emergency’ accountant where I would join various clients for a week, a month or a year to support events such as acquisitions, investigate fraud, build teams, implement systems or cover a Finance Director’s maternity or other leave.

This led to exposure to lots of different industries ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to Blue Chip companies. I had an amazing opportunity to work on a £50m research and development renewable energy program and after this joined MJN in October 2017.

I need to work for an organisation that does more than just make a profit and that is what appealed to me about the network. It’s eclectic mix and thirst for constant change and evolution with children’s care at its heart.

I am a wife and mother of two children. My family are my world and having beaten breast cancer, I want to champion embracing life every day and not accepting the status quo.
